A new study published in Science argues that governments must adopt three integrated targets for energy demand by 2035, stating that climate policy will fall short if it focuses solely on how energy is produced and continues to neglect how it is utilized. The study was led by Nuno Bento, researcher at DINÂMIA’CET-Iscte.

The exhibition Lucio Costa Archive draws on the personal collection of the renowned urban planner, which was donated by his family to the Casa da Arquitetura in 2021. Curated by Ana Vaz Milheiro in collaboration with Leonor Matos Silva (both researchers at DINÂMIA’CET-Iscte), Lucio Costa Archive opens on 18 April at Casa da Arquitetura, with a programme featuring two days of free activities, and will run until 13 September 2026.

On 4 April, DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte researcher Alexandra Saraiva was interviewed on the SIC Notícias programme ‘Expresso Imobiliário’ to present the exhibition ‘Habitar Portugal 74|24’ on behalf of the curatorial team (Alexandra Saraiva, Célia Gomes, and Rui Leão).

The exhibition, on display at the CCB until 26 April, presents a panoramic overview in tribute to half a century of democracy in Portugal, thus serving as an important document for our country's contemporary history.

The Youth Employment Observatory and the City-Regions Transitions Observatory participated today at the Iscte Open Day 2026. The article 'The Paradox of Trust: How Leadership, Commitment, and Inertia Shape Sustainability Behavior in the Workplace’, co-authored by Winston Silvestre (DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte researcher), Sérgio Begnini and Isabel Abreu has been published by MDPI in the Journal of Administrative Sciences.

DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte is pleased to invite you to an Open Lecture of the Master's programme in Urban Studies, entitled "The Arrival Grid: Public Space as Migrant Social Infrastructure in Central Lisbon".

Ana Vaz Milheiro, integrated researcher at DINÂMIA’CET-Iscte, was interviewed in the 19 March 2026 edition of Visão magazine regarding the research project ArchLabour: Architecture, Colonialism and Labour. The role and legacy of mass labour in the design, planning and construction of Public Works in former African territories under Portuguese colonial rule.

DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte has published the working paper entitled: 'Artificial Intelligence and the Economy', authored by Ricardo Paes Mamede. This publication examines the economic implications of recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on the mechanisms through which AI affects firms, markets and macroeconomic outcomes.

Rita Calvário, researcher at DINÂMIA’CET-Iscte, produced the episode ‘Mujeres y Migraciones’ for the Soil Sisters podcast series, developed within the framework of the SWIFT project – Supporting Women-led Innovation in Farming Territories.

Florinda Matos spoke about the CERERE Project (CEreals REsiliency REvolution), an European project to improve the resilience of cereal supply chains in the Mediterranean, on the latest episode of the '90 Segundos de Ciência' podcast.
