Call for Expression of Interest for the Recruitment of a Senior Technician

The Iscte-Knowledge and Innovation – Technology Transfer and Valorization Centre, through its Research Unit, the Centre for Socioeconomic and Territorial Studies (DINÂMIA’CET-Iscte), hereby announces that it is accepting expressions of interest for the recruitment of a Senior Technician to perform duties within the Unit.
Interested applicants must demonstrate a professional background with consolidated experience in R&D Communication and Media.
1. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
i. Defining and updating the Research Unit's Communication Plan;
ii. Disseminating the scientific knowledge generated within the Research Unit;
iii. Producing content derived from the Unit’s scientific activities;
iv. Managing the Research Unit's website;
v. Developing digital content;
vi. Managing the Research Unit's social media platforms.
2. Profile:
i. A Bachelor's degree in the CNAEF 210 scientific area (Arts) – Communication;
ii. Experience in organizing reference information, as well as its circulation and dissemination within specific working groups;
iii. Experience in Graphic Design, with full proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and other image-editing software;
iv. Experience in web design (websites, online content, newsletters, flyers, brochures, posters, etc.);
v. Proficiency in social media management and content production;
vi. Full proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese and English;
vii. Knowledge of the National Scientific System and of National and European Science, Technology, and Innovation Programmes;
viii. Experience in strategic communication and science dissemination;
ix. Experience in organizing scientific events, initiatives, and dissemination activities in both national and international contexts;
x. Experience in Science and Technology management, particularly in (inter)national cooperation processes, strategic initiatives, consortia, and thematic networks.
3. Terms and Conditions:
Unfixed-term individual employment contract, with a working schedule of 40 hours per week.
Pay scale position 16A – €1,713.31, plus a daily meal allowance, as well as holiday and Christmas allowances.
Workplace accident insurance provided.

5. Expected Start Date:
1 July 2026.

i. Proof of Bachelor's degree. If obtained abroad, the degree must be formally recognized in Portugal by the date the employment contract is signed;

iv. Other documents deemed relevant (e.g., recommendation letters, motivation letter, etc.).
