Alexandra Paio receives Best Paper Award at the EURA 2026 Conference

The Best Paper Award was attributed to the article “Learning to Reconfigure Housing Provision: Industrialized Construction and Collaborative Governance in Times of Crisis”, by Emanuel Diogo and Alexandra Paio, presented at the EURA 2026 Conference.

The award was announced during the closing dinner of the EURA 2026 conference, recognizing the originality, methodological robustness, and relevance of the article to contemporary urban challenges, particularly in the field of housing provision, industrialized construction, and collaborative governance in times of crisis.

This recognition constitutes a very significant distinction for the work carried out at Dinamia'CET-Iscte, resulting from the EASMUS+ BIP Pioneer Alliance "Sustainable Industrialized Housing: The Way Forward for Implementing Collaborative Housing," and also opens the possibility of future publication in the journal Urban Research & Practice.
