DE ECONOMIA E CES | UNIVERSIDADE DE COIMBRA FACEBOOK Apresentação Esta sessão apresenta o percurso da Miso Music Portugal, estrutura de referência para a música contemporânea de vertente experimental, eletroacústica e transdisciplinar. Fundada em 1985, à MMP associam-se o Centro de Investigação & Informação da Música Portuguesa com uma importante plataforma digital, e o Festival Música Viva que em 2018 realiza a sua 24ª edição. Que experiência e reflexão ao fim de mais de 30 anos de actividade contínua para o fomento da criação, de divulgação e circulação nacional e internacional, de investigação e preservação do património, de edição e publicação, de partilha? reXistir, o título para a sessão, resume a tenacidade de um projeto de excelência e altamente reconhecido em Portugal e no exterior. Desde outubro de 2014, a MMP dispõe em Lisboa do seu espaço: o O’culto da Ajuda, também motivo para a reflexão. Que lógicas de inclusão e de resistência para a programação artística nesse espaço onde a criação musical transdisciplinar explora novos caminhos, estéticas, valores? Miguel Azguime (1960, Lisboa) é compositor, poeta, performer. Em 1985, fundou com Paula Azguime o Miso Ensemble, projeto de autor singular, com um percurso de mais de 800 concertos realizados pelo mundo . Miguel Azguime obteve vários prémios de composição e de interpretação e o seu catálogo compreende mais de 100 obras para diversas formações. Recebeu encomendas de numerosas instituições públicas e privadas, nacionais e estrangeiras e a sua música tem presença regular nos festivais internacionais de música contemporânea, dos EUA ao Japão, pela mão de prestigiados maestros, solistas e agrupamentos. Foi compositor residente em numerosos estúdios de criação internacionais e, em 2006, também compositor residente da DAAD em Berlim. Recentemente obteve com a sua Nova Op-Era “Itinerário do Sal”, o prémio Music Theatre NOW do Instituto Internacional de Teatro da UNESCO e o Prémio Nacional Multimédia. Paralelamente exerce uma acção constante na divulgação e fomento das novas linguagens musicais e das relações da música com a tecnologia, com destaque para a fundação da Miso Music Portugal, do Centro de Investigação & informação da Música Portuguesa e do Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble. Coordena o programa doutoral Discursos: Cultura, História e Sociedade (CES/FEUC/FLUC). É investigadora do Centro de Estudos Sociais, integrando o Núcleo Cidades, Culturas e Arquitectura (CCA). Tem desenvolvido investigação nos domínios da cultura, sobre hábitos e práticas culturais dos portugueses, políticas de cultura, e a actividade de instituições de referência nas esferas artísticas e culturais locais e nacionais. Researcher: Nuno Bento Presentation: The research seeks to understand the processes of emergence and development of new low carbon technologies, particularly in regions outside the traditional innovation cores. The international diffusion of clean technologies is fundamental for deep decarbonisation by 2050 that is necessary to limit the increase of the temperatures to 1,5ºC. The success of the growth of low carbon technologies in Portugal, namely onshore and offshore wind energy, was analyzed in the first three years of research. In the second triennium we will also explore the factors and patterns of emergence of energy technologies during the formative phase. The study aims to reveal mechanisms for accelerating the technological change necessary for the transition to a low carbon economy. This is an important and original issue in that it focuses on an innovative intermediate economy, such as Portugal, which seeks to combine environmental objectives with development and external competitiveness. International Conference and Summer School Digital Survey in Religious Architecture Registrations are open The International Conference and Summer School Digital Survey in Religious Architecture will take place in Lisbon and Évora (Portugal) from 23rd to 29th July. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct digital surveys in religious heritage sites through theoretical classes and practical activities. Based on real case studies, each participant will experience the entire process of 3d survey using the relevant equipment and technology: the field survey, data processing, rendering, interpretation and final presentation of the work. Participants will be guided by experienced tutors in all process stages. The real case studies are 2 monasteries located in Alentejo region: Santa Margarida do Aivado and Santa Catarina de Montemuro, which were part of the Congregation of Saint Paul of Serra de Ossa (Ossa Mountain). Duarte Rolo is a psychologist who has observed on his clinical practice the importance of work in our mental health, and who has explored the contributions of work psychology and ergonomics to deep understanding the relationship between individuals and their work. Duarte will join us in a discussion about the meaning of work, as a source of pleasure and suffering in our lives. Short bio: Clinical psychologist (Université Paris Descartes), PhD in Work Psychology (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) and Associate Professor (Maître de Conférences) at Université Paris Descartes. My main research areas are psychodynamics and psychopathology of work, psychoanalysis and critical theory.I am currently developing research on the political implications of work related suffering.I am also interested in methods of preventing suffering at work. Imagem e Propaganda em Portugal (1934-1974) ” – PTDC/CPC-HAT/4533/2014. 18 Abril 16:00 - 18:00 CFP – Centro Português de Fotografia Resumo: A sessão “O Valor Patrimonial do Portugal Gráfico construído pela Fotografia Editada (1934-1948)” pretende revelar os processos de edição e de exibição das imagens da visão progressista (as Obras Públicas como rosto da nação) e da visão culturalista (a Cultura Popular como autenticidade do povo esteta) que construíram a MetaImagem de Portugal no Estado Novo, e à qual atribuímos um valor patrimonial. A eloquência das imagens fotográficas das grandes realizações e da fotogenia da terra portuguesa foram matriciais para a construção de uma política do espirito e para a formação de consciências. A partir do trabalho desenvolvido por editores, comissários, arquitectos, fotógrafos e pela equipa de decoradores do SPN/SNI, na composição das páginas de um leque variado de publicações e na montagem dos espaços expositivos, analisamos o palimpsesto da fotografia editada e pública. Nota curricular: Paula André, é doutorada em Arquitectura e Urbanismo pelo ISCTE-IUL e mestre em História da Arte pela FCSH-UNL. DINAMIA’CET-IUL Engaged in Knowledge Transfer Activities with Cultural and Creative Industries On the 15th of March, the 3rd meeting of the European transnational project “ 4H-CREAT – Quadruple helix to stimulate innovation in the Atlantic Cultural & Creative SMEs ”, in which ISCTE-IUL, through DINAMIA’CET-IUL, is a partner, took place in Limerick (Ireland).The project – which focuses on increasing cooperation between different types of social actors – has begun to study the involvement of final users and new publics in the creation and production of innovative products. The reunion saw the alignment of project goals and lines of action for the next few months, namely in the tasks of identifying new generational niches, interactions between entrepreneurs in a virtual fair, and other activities of enrichment of institutional actors. The participation of DINAMIA’CET-IUL in the 4H-CREAT project is mostly in its elaboration of a report on knowledge transfer oriented to the needs and interests of small and medium enterprises (SME’s) of the cultural and creative sector, developing a dedicated technical model that should be concluded for presentation by the end of the present year. Besides the meeting agenda, a study visit was carried out to the creative incubator of the Limerick School of Arts and Design (LSAD) as well as to the installations of the LSAD and FabLab Limerick, part of the International FabLabs network, with the goal of improving knowledge of the Irish case, but also to raise awareness of the diversity in which actors of the cultural and creative sector act in the European context. Project 4H-CREAT, with actions planned between 2017-2019 is coordinated by Glasgow Caledonian University and includes entities from five countries of the Atlantic Area. Call for Abstracts Special Session: Complementarities of Cultural and Creative Activities and Territorial Development 25th APDR Congress: Circular Economy, Urban Metabolism and Regional Development: Challenges for a Sustainable Future 5-6 July 2018 | FCSH – Lisbon Maria Assunção Gato, Ana Rita Cruz, Pedro Costa and Margarida Perestrelo would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the special session on “Complementarities of Cultural and Creative Activities and Territorial Development”, organized in the 25th APDR Congress that will take place 5-6 July 2018, in FCSH – Lisbon. The aim and scope of the special session: The cultural and creative activities have recently been the focus of attention of academics and policy makers in Portugal as an emerging sector capable of work as leverage of several other economic activities and of producing several impacts that can benefit the territories where they are implemented. This session aims to address the complementarities between cultural and creative activities and other economic activities, its practical applications in different territorial contexts, and the socioeconomic and territorial impacts induced by it. This session aims also to look over the diverse methodologies that can be used to analyse and study these kinds of processes.
