Productivity was the theme of 4 November edition of RTP show  Sociedade Civil, featuring the co-ordinator of DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte's Youth Employment Observatory Fátima Suleman.

In 2020, 35,5% of qualified youth earned the minimum wage. This alarming data was produced by the Youth Employment Observatory, whcih also indicated that Portugal was at the top of EU unemployment rankings last year.

Paulo Marques, co-ordinator of the Youth Employment Observatory shared with TSF that, in 2020, 35,5% earned the national minimum wage, which may be explained by wage evolution but also by the economiy's reduced diversity.

The episode with Paulo Marques of the programme 'Da Capa à Contracapa' of Rádio Renascença, introduced a conversation about Rui Branco's book Proteção Social no Portugal Democrático. This programme also hosted the author and was moderated by journalist José Pedro Frazão.

Fátima Suleman participated in the RTP3 programme 'Fronteiras XXI' dedicated to 'What Skills are Lacking in Portugal?'. Invited guests were also  Hugo Figueiredo, Carlos Moreira da Silva and Pedro Góis, moderated by journalist Ana Lourenço.

'A third of unemployed people has been out of work for over two years' - An article by Raquel Martins in Público included the collaboration of Paulo Marques, DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte researcher and co-ordinator of the European Employment Observatory.

Paulo Marques was interviewed for Público, commenting recent INE data showing a decrease in youth unemployment (16 to 24 years) to pre-pandemic values.

Nuno Dias (DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte) participated in the programme '90 Segundos de Ciência', speaking about precarity and informal contracts, based on his project tracing the profile of domestic work in Portugal.

The Youth Employment Observatory, co-ordinated by Paulo Marques and Fátima Suleman, is one of the institutional editors of the White Book Mais e Melhores Empregos para os Jovens, an initiative with the Highest Patronage of the President of the Republic. There was a hearing session on 15 July: 'O Futuro do Trabalho visto pelos jovens' (The future of Labour according to the youth).

Paulo Marques participate din the programme 'Bom dia Portugal' on RTP to comment on the precarity of youth employment, presenting possible guidelines and measures to mitigate current challenges.
