The The State of the Nation and Public Policies report, an IPPS-Iscte initiative, aims to promote a qualified discussion on public interventions that affect the country's structural development.
The 2026 edition, 'Governar com um parlamento fragmentado' (Governing with a fragmented parliament), features contributions from DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte researchers João Vasco Lopes, Luísa Teixeira Alves, Sandra Marques Pereira, Sérgio Lagoa, and Tiago Mendes, focusing on the challenges of governance in a context of high parliamentary fragmentation, analyzing how the absence of a political majority conditions decision-making capacity, the implementation of reforms, and the implementation of public policies.
