SCIENTIFIC EMPLOYMENT


OPEN CALL | STIMULUS OF SCIENTIFIC EMPLOYMENT

DINÂMIA’CET-IUL will host candidates who wish to apply for the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (FCT) Programme Call Stimulus of Scientific Employment. This Call concerns PhD holders (National, Foreign and Stateless) who wish to conduct scientific research in Portugal. In order to participate, candidates are requested to send a full application in English (available soon), containing the following elements:

  • Researcher Career Level (Junior Researcher | Assistant Researcher | Principal Researcher | Coordinaton Researcher);

  • Research Plan, including a rigorous selection of the main activities to be developed, expected results and a clear identification of a mission and scientific challenges, to be considered in the framework of one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (2030 Agenda);

  • Synopsis of the scientific and curricular path, highlighting the main activities and results obtained in the last 5 years;

  • Curriculum Vitae;

  • Motivation letter, identifying up to two main contributions of the candidate in the last 5 years and the expected main contributions for the next years;

  • Justification of the integration of the Research Plan in the strategy of DINÂMIA'CET - IUL and the Research Group within which it will be conducted.

Applications must be submitted until 10 february 2019 by sending aforementioned information to dinamia@iscte-iul.pt. The Subject line should be Stimulus of Scientific Employment 2018. Selected candidates will be notified by DINÂMIA'CET-IUL of our acceptance as host institution.
