Vasco Braga dos Santos is a visual artist, teacher and cultural programmer in the field of the Visual/Plastic Arts. He graduated in Painting by Escola Superior de Arte e Design das Caldas da Rainha - Instituto Politécnico de Leiria (ESAD.CR), post-graduated in Artistic Education by Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa and he is also a Masters student in Cultural Management in ESAD.CR. His artwork is developed in the fields of painting and silk-screen printing, etching, video and photography. The most relevant projects are: Sphera, 2021; Calcário 2020/21, Convento da Terra (TARS) 2021- present; Perfectio, 2020; Óbidos Jazz Beach, 2021-present; the Gallery Bar “Démodé” between 2004 and 2010 and the organization of the Arts Exhibition Caldas Late Night Ed. 7 and 8. Between 2004 and 2007, he worked as the assistant of the painter Vítor Pomar, being responsible for his digital media collection, video and photo editing and was also the exhibitions programmer. Vasco Braga dos Santos participated in collective and individual exhibitions in Portugal (Caldas da Rainha, Lisboa, Porto, Ericeira) and in Europe (Sevilha, Paris, Berlim).
