Mário Caeiro is a professor, lecturer, curator and researcher in the field of urban culture and public art. He is the author of the book “Arte da Cidade - História Contemporânea” (2014). Since 1995, as an independent curator, he has been interested in transdisciplinarity, rhetoric, public space and the city. He has a PhD in Visual Arts and Intermedia from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). He is a member of LIDA - Laboratório de Investigação em Design e Artes (Design and Arts Research Laboratory) and the Centre for Culture and Communication Studies at FCH/UCP.
