Short Bio

Ana Rita Cruz is a researcher at DINÂMIA'CET-IUL. Since 2012 he has been part of the research group "Cities and Territories" where he has been working on the contributions of tourism to the promotion of cultural and creative dynamics in the territory. Ana Rita is currently participating in the project team "CREATOUR - Developing Creative Tourism Destinations in Small Towns and Rural Areas" (Program of Joint Activities, Portugal 2020), which aims to develop an integrated approach to creative tourism in small towns and rural areas in Portugal. Ana Rita Cruz is a sociologist, Ph.D. in Tourism Studies and a Master in Tourism Destination Management and Development from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve, an entity with which she collaborates as Invited Assistant Professor.
