The project researched social entrepreneurship in Portugal through the consideration of three dimensions/goals: i) caracterization of social policies; ii) organizations of social economy (case studies); iii) pos-graduate programes in social (and solidarity) economy. The selected cases allowed a deep analysis of social economy entities in diferente regions of the country and a perception of their diversity, their role in social inclusion and empowerment, as well as their main problems.
